My name is Jonathan Quayle and I have spent the past 20 years studying historic ocean liners and royal yachts, and hunting down the precious objects and practical artefacts that sailed the seas with them. Many of the items for sale on this site once graced the great ships operated by Cunard, White Star and French Line. Others hail from the royal yachts that were in service from the 1870s to 1997.

As well as writing my book on RMS Queen Mary and other Ocean Liner research projects I regularly lecture on the same subject, Ocean Liner and Royal Yacht histories.
